Adi Guru Shankaracharya Temple and Astral Garden as Tourist Attraction. Astrology and Astrologers Welfare Association (AAWA) established Adi Guru Shankaracharya Temple and Idol. ( An early 8th century Indian philosopher and theologian who consolidated the doctrine of Advaita Vedanta. He is reputed to have founded four Mathas (“Monasteries”). This temple situated at Chatterjee Para, East West Bypass Road Side Island. It is an extremely important religious place in West Bengal. This temple is dedicated to Adi Guru Shankaracharya , the philosopher and theologian of savior of Hinduism. Although West Bengal has about 100s temples, the ADI GURU SHANKARACHARYA TEMPLE is the most important of them all. The temple holds a special significance in the minds of the devotees. The holy place of the temple houses surrounded by the statue of ADI GURU SHANKARACHARYA along with Ganesh, Hanumanji temple, Vrindaban Garden of Sri Krishna and a Kali Temple.
